Leaders learn and FORCE the pace of change FORWARD.
I thought that was really powerful. Saw it on a TV advert, and it got stuck in my memory for quite some time. It says that leaders force CHANGE forward. This further reminded me how change is 100% always a constant and is always taking place, 24-7. However, only LEADERS will accelerate and redefine the speed that change will occur, because leaders are people who are never contented with staying the same, doing things the same way...
Anyway, was reminded today of two things:
1) If you expect a miracle to take place, you'll never give up pushing for that miracle. Soon, you'll come to realise that making miracles happen becomes part of your daily lifestyle, and your actions will be radically transformed.
2)Your revelation of God is related to the size of the problems and setbacks you encounter in life. Sometimes, the reason why BIG setbacks hit you when you least expect lies simply in the fact that God is ready to release a new revelation to set you on the next phase of your life.

有时，身为一个和歌曲蛮有接触的女生，旋律常在脑海里漂浮着。但我发觉在一首歌里，最重要的，对我而言，并不是凑合得天衣无缝的乐队，或悦耳的旋律，而是那一个个带有深情的歌词。爱作词的我，发现写歌让我能在豪无压力之下，能深深的体会自己心里的话题。在我快乐时，可把这欢笑带入梦中；而当我失落时，能在词中哭出来。作词时，我仿佛被带进我要的梦幻世界，和我的白马王子相遇。生命再次又充满了无限的希望和梦想，把我折断的翅结回原形。
但在人生的一路里, 忘词, 或忘了怎么作词, 是一件大家都不想面对的事。一首歌没了歌词, 就像没了灵魂，失去了颜色。来到这里，有时真会觉得不知所措，好想突破却面对个似乎无能打败的巨塔。有时真的觉得没了词的曲，没了目标的路程真难往前走，好想好想好好的大哭一场，但眼泪却似乎已干了。我认为这是对我来说是很真实的事，但我始终相信在暗中，亮光有一天会出现。你又何否想体验有亮光的生命呢？

2 lessons learnt in the last few days...
1) Never compromise, seek only to improvise.
2) People who seem close to someone may not neccessarily know everything about that person. Common it may seem, but it may be the very 1st time they so this do. So, never assume, always speak up.
No. 2 is going to be a challenge for me, but I will conquer it! Like my boss always say that everything about me is good, EXCEPT my lack of assertiveness. And that reminds me of lesson 3...
3) Learn to prioritise the people who need your attention and time. There should never be a good enough reason to make people wait, unless ABSOLUTELY neccessary.
3 awesome lessons which I guess only I myself will be able to understand. Parables they sure are I know. But that's the point: I need to note them down so as not to forget them. After all, like what I believe in, people can make mistakes, but their repentance can only be validated by how much effort they put into making sure it will NOT happen again. That's why I need to note it down for future referrals should there be a need to remind myself one day!

This is my 1st song of 2007. =)
Just to describe it abit, if you realise, the title is kind of a contradiction in itself. Translated, it simply means 'the warm arctic wind'. Ironic, it seems. But that's the way I wanted it to be. It's just awesome how something so cold can become warm, how someone hardened by pain and sin can be melted by love, when someone else comes alongside, ready to kiss away the hurt and turn that winter into summer.
This song talks of coming to the end of oneself, where even that little glimmer of hope that used to light up the cold and dark arctic sky has been blown away from existence. Still, one stands alone in the vast open space, and resolves to keep the fight and be strong despite it all.
Sometimes, I look back and thank God for the love and many beautiful memories and experiences of how He has touched my life. I believe memories are very important, because in my lowest points these memories are the ones that never fail to pull me up once again, and keep me walking with the one I know I can trust. It's awesome to have a creative Daddy, one who reminds me that life is beautiful, and springs up little surprises such as the multi-coloured rainbow which He painted on His big canvas.
Simple things sometimes carry the most weight. I'm super thankful I have a Daddy who knows me inside out. I want to know His heart the same way too.
Wow whee! I didn't know that my tagboard was up again! That sort of energizes me to blog once again, don't ask me why, coz I don't know too. Guess I have not been at my blog for donkey years...
