150806- 270807: That was my lifespan at BST Scientific. And as much as it was challenging working at BST, it was awesome to know you guys were around to laugh it through with me. And thanks so much for your farewell gift of...*Drumroll*...

Yes! It's Godiva aka Go Diva (yes I knew it was meant for me) chocs! You guys certainly know me well...haha! Thanks so much for the sweet gesture! =)

Just to tempt your tastebuds. =)

That's me plus my messy workstation in response to Peifen asking me to 'act cute'. Haha!

Shopping Kakis: with tai-tai Rachel.

The old generation team: me with Prince Pin-ful. (maybe its pillA now? =p)

The new generation team of BST + one old generation member, i.e. yours truly. You guys were suppose to give the devouring-ice-cream look, but as usual, I guess you all preferred to love pretty and 'normal' and left me looking different. For memory's sake, from left: Yuni (Darling), Zoe (Princess Meinu), Ken (King Sy-ringe), Peifen (Queen Duck).

Though the team is currently very much revamped, you guys will always be very much part of the sweet memories I had in my 1st job. It's you people who made it enjoyable and filled my worklife with ALOT of joy. =) I'll always be around as your plasticqueen. Hee...

To Wiardi: So now we are together again! Yea man! Cheers to progressive sales! We are gonna chiong together and beat Ken and Rach okay? =) Looking forward to a greater partnership just as we've done it before!

To Rachel: Hey gal, we will still meet up aloooot for shopping trips yea? And rest assured I will accompany you to your Tiffany, Gucci, LV, Dior etc...when you get your record-breaking 3% comm sales! Jiayou!!

To Ken: "Hello Dr Liu, Ken speaking. Hello Ken...oopps I mean Dr Liu!" Haha! Just wanna say thanks for being there for me and buying me chocs when I was really down then. It's a simple gesture, but it meant alot to me okay! ;) Now that you are K5, do your best yea?

To Peifen: You are one sweet girl-next-door! Haha, just wanna wish you all the best in whatever you do in future, and remember to do what you really enjoy coz life is short, make the most out of it and have lotsa fun!

To Yuni: Now it's up to you and Ken Chong to chiong. Gonna get stressful at times I agree (actually alot of times..=p), but the motto is to chiong yea?! Gogogo!

Extracted from "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis:

If I were the devil...
I’ll distract Christians from contemplative prayers which, when practiced, will deepen their intimacy with God.
I’ll belittle convictions that are Spirit-inspired.
I’ll promote judgmentalism and self-righteousness among Christians who believe they are good people.
I’ll wrap church leaders around their feelings of inadequacy, and discourage them from praying Spirit-led prayers.
I’ll cause them to be anxious and fearful about their future.
I’ll teach them to live hypocritical lives – hating their next door neighbour, yet going on missions to far-off lands.
I’ll tutor church goers into being extreme passivists, sitting in church and pointing the finger instead of lifting their hands in worshipful service.
I’ll confuse them about the ups and downs of the seasons of life, and tell them that God doesn’t care.
I’ll increase their sense of flippancy towards the holiness of God.
I’ll encourage gluttony, to deafen their sensitivity to the promptings of God.
I’ll lead them into double-mindedness, so they’ll lose focus for God’s purpose.
I’ll be subtle in all my temptings because “the safest road to hell is a gradual one, without siren, without signposts”.

When I read this, I just knew I could not take it lying down. How many of these thoughts have resided in the cavities of our mind, heart and soul, which we have drawn out and made manifest in our daily living? This provoked me so much, but being provoked is not enough, feeling the anger towards the devil is not sufficient- the only course of action now is to have a renewed and uncompromising attitude towards life, and to stay in the rivers of victory. The devil must not, and CANNOT win. It's time for Round 1: Fight!

Yet, when the dust settles and the truth sets in, one cannot help but realise that the devil can only move in as much as we allow him to. When rubber meets the road, I believe sometimes there is no point in blaming the devil. After all, who is the gatekeeper of your thoughts and feelings? Its' time to be more mature and discerning of who we really are in Christ, and stand upon that.

Business Breakthru Dinner 2007. A night where we learnt that opportunities are only round the corner, as we remain faithful in chasing donkeys...At the same time, photo opportunities are not to be missed too! =)

Jialing, back looking the ever-so-blessed woman. =)

Buddy buddy...

Diana, Zoe and Jazlyn. Notice how our dresses were so perfectly matched unintentionally.

Smiling poses can be a little boring at times. The dao look adds erm...variety.

Zoe and Victoria. Check out Vic's permed hair...

Diana, Boss, Zoe. Okay we were caught unprepared.

Happy birthday, Sean! Shuo wei 'shi wu di yuuuuueee liang...' ;)

Endly off the night, group shot of the family once again. (Abit dark, still waiting for the shot taken by church photographer soooonn...)

Finally, home sweet home (after a test of my patience...haha Diana you know what I mean).

Just had to show this off. False eyelashes with Swaroski crystals! Exciting ah? =p

Whoever said that change is the only constant in life has given me the confidence to chop off my locks in exchange for 6 hours spent in the hairstylist's...you should have seen the way they snipped, no i think it's more of CHOPPED off my permed hair. One word to describe: WOW.

It has been 7 years since we last had a gathering where so many turned up at such last minute notice. Its interesting to note that Fairfield's Sec 4A' 00 has morphed into a class comprising a doctor, a lawyer or two, a vet, a stockbroker, some engineers, many teachers and lots more students still. Yet, practically everyone, especially the guys, are still the same old them. Absolutely no change whatsoever in looks, character and mannerisms...but yet the vote for the most different-from-the-past person seem to sit on me: wonder why...Anyway, here's the lot of us!

Back to Fairfield days after 7 years apart.

After all the food @ Vivo Marche...

Chuay Sia, Jasmine and me.

The arrangement here looks exactly like how we used to do it in Secondary School Class Photo shoots...

While getting inspiration for my Chinese Contemp song, just decided to write this song too. So this is my new song (to be refined!):

Wanna Be the One
There is a secret place I know (Oh I know)
There is a special hand I hold (Hand I hold)
There is a love
That knows me through and through

You are the name I can call on (Call on)
You are the healer of my soul (Of my soul)
Many times I’ve turned around
And I know I’ve let you down
But you have always been around

Lord I’m broken
In all my shame
I need You God
Kiss away the pain
I’Wanna be the one
You’ve made (me) to be
Let my life be one that sings your praise

Let my heart beat one with Yours
I’m on my knees
There’s no higher place
I wanna be the one
The one who’ll last this race
With You, I’ll always keep the faith

Jesus, wanna stay so close to You
Jesus, giving all of me for You

It's time to exercise and squeeze the creative juices out again. Chinese songs here I come!!
