Day 1: Singapore to Melbourne, Mt Buller

Off we jet to Melbourne!
And on arrival...the view that will greet me for the next 2 mornings when I awake! I promise this pic is not taken from a postcard...we really took it from my window view.
And of course...the must-have drink.
I think they should pay S.Angela to use this pic to advert for Mt Buller...she looks SO happy here! Absolutely picture perfect.

Need to show this pic coz of the infamous rocket greens that flood every dish! Why oh why...must I dislike veggies so much...
After dinner, we headed outdoors for some food digestion session. Okay, the real reason was probably to take pics lah. But it was so exciting to realise that we could capture the snow in such measure! Pretty!

Day 2-3: Mt Buller

Today, we were determined to see and experience more of the snow, and were raring to chiong coz we were now ready to 'engage' the snow in full gear!

P/S: When it gets difficult to recognise us, look at the beanies/beanie-lookalikes that we have on: white-Zoe, grey-Elena, light gray-Angela. Problem comes when the hoodies come on too...haha!

Okay, this pic looks so...Mt Everest!
On this 2nd day, we were really greeted by all nature had in it's related glory: snow check, hailstones aka coarse sugar check, fog check, cold check, wind check!
Hot chocolate may be my fave beverage, but how about ice cold choc? Okay, not funny. But I think I would really be a fan if that existed.

I think we look kinda similar, save the minimalist in the koala's dressing!
These kiddos are GOOD!
Check out how hair turns white in the snow...I mean by the snow!
What's wrong with this pic? ;)
Tobagganing begins! Sometimes, kids really do know best. They were the ones who taught us what it means to...erm tobaggan, rather than slide for a few metres then get stuck.
BEAUTIFUL!
We started to get a little adventurous when the kiddos disappeared. FREEDOM to do stunts...
And to crash from the stunts! Oops!
But what's wrong with falling down when you can always get up and going again! This is ground meant for falling on and getting the hang of it! ;)
"GOD! Hear my praaaayyerrr!"
My fellow jetsetters were so worried that my toes would really fall off due to the cold...check out my shoes! Please don't ask me why I didn't wear thicker shoes. ;) These gold shoes simply have NO friction, and are easily able to pass off as a tobaggan board for me to slide on!
However, a revelation only came to me at the end of the day, after all the struggle: boots are available for rental. PTL.
Our starters for dinner! I felt so cheated lah! On Day 1, we saw 'bay bugs' on the menu and thought wow they actually call bugs a special dish that they have?! And on Day 2, we realised 'bay bugs' = crayfish. Yummilicious ones at that.
And there we had it, 3 days at Mt Buller, my 1st snow experience! Off we head to Melbourne city, with full confidence that the 5-15degrees C in the city will be bleh to us, having experience -ve temperatures + chilly winds here. As to whether we were right, umm, that shall remain something for us to know. ;)

Day 4: Great Ocean Road, 12 apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge.

This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it! We started the day real early to head off for a long and winding journey down the Great Ocean Road.

Remember that song "A rainbow in the sky shows that God's promises are true..."? God is so good...we saw a total of 7 RAINBOWS! So perfect!
En Route to Great Ocean Road...

And yes, I love koalas.

Thanks to S.Angela and Elena for taking such pretty pics of me! Haha!
Loch Ard Gorge behind.
And the WIND arrives...
BIG TIME...(setting a new trend for hairstyles...)
Nature simply leaves me in awe. Just look at how these rock formations are...and the graduation of colors...
The 12 apostles! (Don't bother counting...we tried but failed...)

By the time we arrived in Melbourne, it was dark...but of course we had to take a pic before closing the day right? ;)

Day 5: Shopping @ Direct Factory Outlet (DFO along Spencer St), Bourke St and I-Forgot-What St...

Good morning World! And Happy Birthday S.Angela! It's a bright and chirpy morning as we awoke (yay, early enough!) to have a hearty room service breakfast. A very hearty one indeed. =p
Check out our erm...outstanding hotel.
There we are walking down excitedly towards one of our all-time favorite pasttimes...
And yes I know, I realised there was a lapse between early morning and late into the evening/night. That can, however, be easily explained when you put 3 black-belters together.
Angela, Zoe and Elena + loot! Consider that amount for A DAY! Not bad huh? Hee...that explains the lack of photos for Day 5...our hands were erm...busy.
