A test of my
PATIENCE.
I remember someone once told me, the role of a leader is akin to a shepherd. We provide the direction, but the decision really lies in the sheep' own hands. That is Christian leadership to me. That is what God does too: He does not enforce decisions and force things down people's throats. A leader guides.
Certain times, as sheep we may never ever understand the things our leaders act on. And alot of times as humans, we then choose to act on our own way. I remember a good friend telling me this, "Even though sometimes it does get VERY difficult to understand why my leader places such boundaries on my life and is SO strict with me, yet I know I will still trust him. He has my best intentions in mind and despite his weaknesses, I know he has gone before me, and he is God's appointed LEADER over my life."
I want to be a sheep like this. Alot of things may not be in my realm of understanding, yet I CHOOSE to trust.
And I know that if I don't and things turn out otherwise...I only have myself to blame.
It's all, after all, a CHOICE.

Would you rather have friends in your life be
people who agree with all you say or those who challenge your perspective? As much as I guess most of us, like me, would naturally choose the former; but I want to choose to be the latter...thanks for helping me grow, my friends. =) (Despite how YOU know I don't like it...haha! =p)
Disclaimer: Of course I'm talking about doing so with proper communication and respect. ;)

BFF's Diana's Wedding! 2nd November 2008 began on an erm...EARLY note. It was so busy and fruitful a morning seeing guys do funny things, seeing tea ceremonies in commencment and the 'elements' being served and photos being taken; that my cam did not have the time to do its job. Well, it will be up soon I guess! In the meantime...let me fill us in on what took place on our arrival in Holiday Inn Atrium at 2pm.
2pm...after the hussle bussle of the morning had subsided a little...One hard at work while the other's erm...;)

*********Skip alot of photos here*********
We basically helped Di's mum do her nails, and everything that needed our help, then...the bride is ready for the night's glam moment!
Everyone was down at the ballroom, and this is what we do when we are awaiting anxiously...and to soothe some nerves in our pretty bride.

Finally, we got down to the Ballroom. Hey this pic is to show I am doing my work okay...I was busy! Hahhaa!
The sisters + Da Jie Da!

Someone mentioned we had to toss the bouquet lah...when everyone had gone home. So there we were...
Umm won't mention who 'caught' it...you can guess yourself if you have been in tune with Facebook's pics...;)

Baking is something therapeutic for me. And it makes me happy to see them put a smile on the faces of the people who mean so much to me. Been doing alot of it recently. =)

Yes I know I'm kind of backdated...but still, I need to blog about it! Anyway I believe that when I blog about something, it shows that thing is of value to me, so I want it to be remembered...haha! And so is my dear member,
Wendy! Happy 21st Birthday!

I like this pic so much coz it looks very cozy to me, so had to post it. =p

Maybe we should have more color-themed parties...looks good in pics!
