I'm glad to be given the chance to love. And to learn. And to grow into the image of the woman that God created me to be from Day One. There's just so much for me to learn...and I'm thankful for the chance to!

Was worshipping God & I'm so reminded of the times I stood in the 1st row with my SOT teammates last year this time, singing Hati Hamba in English & Chinese with all of my heart. It was really a cry to God, to have a servant heart, and to follow Him no matter what it takes. One year on, as I reflect upon those moments, I want to make that surrender cry once again.

There is a line that I really love in Chinese, which says "你单单在意我这爱你的心". I've always loved time alone where I'll come before Daddy God to experience Him love, knowing that all He really wants from me is his daughter's heart that loves Him solely, that gives Him 1st priority.

My eyes set on You in this race that I run
No longer my ways let Your will be done
Make me a servant my heart's ever true
Clinging to the cross I follow You
I follow You

Truly, the lowest place when I'm down on my knees is when the highest and most abundant of God's restoring love is...

A big, warm smile a day speaks for itself, that God is sovereign, and you can give Him full authority to take control of your life, knowing that He'll make it work out the best for you, in the midst of all confusion and uncertainty.

After all, happiness may be circumstance-dependent, but joy is a choice that has been made because of a revelation. The revelation of a sovereign Dad in heaven who wants the best for me.

-God knows you better than you know you and has reached His final analysis: He loves you STILL.

-Forgiveness is not saying that the one who hurt you was right. It's saying that God is faithful and He will do what is right.

-God can live anywhere in this universe, and He chose your heart. Face it- He's crazy about you!

-One of the sweetest reasons God saved you is because He's fond of you. He likes having you around.

Was also reading the bible and happened to refer to my trusty MSG bible. We all remember the verse in NKJV that says in Ps 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken & contrite heart- these O God, You'll not despise." Yet, here's a new read on it from the MSG version "I learned God-worship when my pride was shattered. Heart-shattered lives ready for love don't for a moment escape God's notice." Wow.

Loving God and having an intimacy with Him, rediscovering His grace and love is really so powerful. In God, there is a peace that surpasses all understanding no matter how confused I may be, and that same peace will guard my heart and mind against the enemy's attacks.

It has been a humbling experience, one where I truly learnt so much about myself, and areas I need to change. An openness and willingness to change and learn positions one to win in life, and I am ready to be that individual who lives life like that. It's true that I will always walk with a limp in life, yet in the midst of my weaknesses, I will discipline myself to lay aside my pride and to learn. That the world may see and know that we are truly His disciples.

Was looking through my past blog entries & I realised that blogging has been a great form of expression, as well as a medium for me to better discover myself & what I want in life. There have been alot of thoughts all along since I stopped blogging, but its a pity I never got down to listing them down! Guess its a good time to start...soon.

In the final analysis, God will always be my greatest love.
