Whoever said that time always flies by when you are enjoying yourself doing the things you like, for the people you adore and with the people you love must be a genius. How true can it get when Diana decided to come over to bai4 shi1 xue2 yi4! Hahaha...let me be thick-skinned for a moment.

Anyway, this mummy's day was ultra fun and exciting coz we all were in the same vision: wanting to make our spiritual mummy feel like she is the queen of queens to the max. But of course, right? What better way to tell one of our sweetest, wisest, most sensitive to people's needs, most loving, etc...mummy that we LOVE her?

And so we decided to execute our ultimatum plan. All out already. It all begun on the Wed before Mother's Day (Wed coz no choice, they came back from Aussie Land only on Tues MN).

Day 1 (Wed): Mystery (erm) delivery woman 1 delivers COOKBOOKS with LOVE, to allow the mummy overflowing with love to express it through her cooking.

Day 2 (Thu): Mystery delivery woman 2 delivers SPA TREATMENT with HUGS, coz mummies are made to be loved and pampered!

Day 3 (Fri): Mystery delivery woman 3 (heh) delivers HANDMADE APPLE CUPCAKES with SMILES, hoping mummy will taste the love spewing out of them in every bite.

And of the finale...Day 4 (Sat), we headed over to have QT with mummy! I was referring to quality time, what did you think? When the clock struck 12, the finale emerged. Mummy got her beautiful pop-up flower card with all her daughters' and sons' wishes, and a Kathy Van Zeeland bag!

With a happy mummy, we definitely were happy kids! Cheers to all you fellow kiddies for a 'job' well done! (Even though our parents were too sharp and discovered us on some delivery visits.)

That's my dearest Diana chopping apples! She said it brought her back to school days when she was chopping fruits in lessons and enjoying it. But she was scolded (hmph!) by yours truly coz she didn't utilise my Granny Smiths well lah! Check out all the remaining flesh left on the core!

Some of the raw materials we used included Gerber's Baby's Second Foods: Applesauce. This is really yummy, if you can afford the small jar for a snack. Haha...=p We poured loads of it into our cupcakes. Diana made amends for wasting my apples by helping to sacrifice when she made a special trip to help me buy more applesauce coz I misestimated. Oops. (Some of the pics are real small huh...got to click on them to see.)

Guess who fooled around most of the time?

This has always been one of my fave parts of baking: the preparation for the oven to do its work. Means...it's time to watch the magic (hopefully)!

And here we are! Very happy and satisfied coz we had very pretty-looking outcomes! My colleague commented they looked like huat kueh coz they actually managed to 'flower' at the top. Bweautiful! Yay!

From putting them into the pretty jewel box and finally...in the lift going up to Bishan Loaf for thy mission.

Happy Mother's Day to all mummies out there: every single one deserves all that she can get on this day! And I love my mummy Teo coz...she simply wins hands down!
