Ever had a moment when you do something below your expectations/wrong and everyone else does fantastic? What happened after that when you gave yourself a 2nd chance or 3rd or...? Do you find that it never gets easier, no matter how hard you try? A stigma does inevitably get formed in the human mind, and it tugs away at our confidence level. Suddenly, all your flaws, associated or not, stares you in the eye and crawl back all at once. Suddenly, you become a grasshopper in the land of giants, you no longer want to stand up, preferring instead to shrink into the wall and fade away.

And the list goes on....

Ever wondered how the opposite can happen when even though you fail and everyone else does fantastic, that those people come alongside and speak life into you, telling you to simply...'keep going, you can do it, i've seen you do it before, so now's no exception...and the likes'? Yes, frustration at not being able to do something right eats at you and certainly tears may be at the edge of revival, but a smile lights up inside you. Hey, thanks for being patient with me, perhaps with time I can really do it? Instead of defective criticism, constructive criticism bathe in love is spoken: how does that sound?

Doesn't that empower you already?

Never allow yourself to be a stigma-planter. Be a loveseed-planter instead.
