A test of my
PATIENCE.
I remember someone once told me, the role of a leader is akin to a shepherd. We provide the direction, but the decision really lies in the sheep' own hands. That is Christian leadership to me. That is what God does too: He does not enforce decisions and force things down people's throats. A leader guides.
Certain times, as sheep we may never ever understand the things our leaders act on. And alot of times as humans, we then choose to act on our own way. I remember a good friend telling me this, "Even though sometimes it does get VERY difficult to understand why my leader places such boundaries on my life and is SO strict with me, yet I know I will still trust him. He has my best intentions in mind and despite his weaknesses, I know he has gone before me, and he is God's appointed LEADER over my life."
I want to be a sheep like this. Alot of things may not be in my realm of understanding, yet I CHOOSE to trust.
And I know that if I don't and things turn out otherwise...I only have myself to blame.
It's all, after all, a CHOICE.
